Getting All WAD Files for Wii to Work: A Troublesome Journey

As a Wii enthusiast, I'm sure many of you have encountered the same issues I've faced while trying to get all WAD files working on my console. For those who don't know what WAD files are, they're essentially packages containing data for games or applications that can be installed on your Wii.

My problem started when I tried to install Rock Band 2 songs manually. Despite using the riiconnect24 patcher and splitting the WADs, I kept getting an 'out of date' issue. After hours of troubleshooting and scouring online forums, I realized that many others had encountered similar problems. That's when I decided to take a step back and reassess my approach.

Firstly, let me mention that I've installed Rock Band 3 and Guitar Hero World Tour on my Wii using USB Loader GX, which has been working seamlessly so far. However, when it comes to installing DLC (downloadable content), things get complicated.

I started by following the instructions for wad2bin (0.7) to install Beatles Rock Band DLC. Surprisingly, everything worked except for Abbey Road, which remains a mystery to me. But that's not the main issue at hand.

When I try to install WAD files from the Repository using the same procedure, I get 'corrupt content' or 'out of date' messages. It seems like my Wii is rejecting these files for some reason. I've tried installing Big WADs and Split WADs, but nothing seems to work.

Guitar Hero World Tour presents a different problem altogether. When I try to install the Big WAD, it tells me that I've exceeded the 140-song limit. Meanwhile, Rock Band 2 refuses to accept any WAD files at all, giving me a 'corrupt content' error.

To make matters worse, my Wii is running an emuNAND with a 2TB HDD and a 16GB micro SD formatted to FAT32. I've modded my Wii using LetterBomb, which has been working fine until now.

As you can see, getting all WAD files for Wii to work is no easy task. I'm still at a loss as to why my console is rejecting these files, despite following various online tutorials and guides. If anyone out there has any insight or advice on what I might be doing wrong, please share your knowledge in the comments below.
